EVENT DESCRIPTION

Racedays have been organising motorcyle sports events throughout Europe since 2005, along with the promotion of racing events at national and international level and competing with our own team in the World Superbike Superstock 600 championship.

Our trackday events are at a level between a traditional 'track day' and a club competition meeting. The biggest difference to a standard trackday event is that we offer fun amateur races. Our events are fully insured to stage these races and we have a professional and experienced event management team, most of who have experience in racing at world championship level. Our timetables are structured to offer all participants the maximum amount of track time and to provide a challenging and rewarding event.

Generally Racedays events attract a high standard of rider and we enjoy an exemplary safety record. This does not mean a rider has to be particularly fast but we ask that all participants are able to maintain a racing line, ride predictably and behave courteously to the other riders on track. We treat all our customers as responsible adults and our goal is for you to have an enjoyable event both on and off the track.

TRANSPONDER TIMING
All participants have the option of free transponder timing. The transponders have a unique code and log each lap time on the timekeeper's computer as they pass the start finish line. They are issued at signing on and stay with you for the duration of the event. The fastest laps per rider are printed out after each session and each participant has all their laps from throughout the day printed after the last session. Live timing is also displayed on a giant TV monitor at the control garage. Riders may be asked to move or may request a move from one group to another after Day 1 if their recorded lap times are noticeably different to the others in the group.

SPRINT RACES
There are four sprint races over the course of the event. The classes are 'up to 600cc', 'over 600cc' 'Open A' and 'Open B'. Open A is for the 30 fastest qualifying riders of the event whilst the Open B race is for those riders who may not have qualified for the other races.  The Open B race is always a rolling start behind a pace bike, whilst all other races will be grid starts or rolling starts depending on the venue. There will be a special briefing from our professional racer coaches to cover the starting and race procedures.

TRACK COACHING
Racedays customers have been fortunate to receive coaching from some of the best riders in the world including Jeremy McWilliams, Simon Crafar, Randy Mamola, Ron and Leon Haslam, Eugene Laverty, Leon Camier and Chaz Davies. Whatever the level you ride at there is no surer way of improving your lap times and increasing your safety than receiving expert tuition from some of the most skilled riders on the planet.

HOTELS
Racedays arrange subsidised rates at a selection of great hotels near our circuits. Hotel accommodation is based on two riders sharing a twin room for three nights and includes breakfast.

INSURANCES
Please ensure you have a valid medical insurance for overseas event which also covers motorsport activities. This is a legal requirement at most circuits.

QUALIFYING
Qualifying for all the races takes place on Day 1 afternoon and Day 2 morning. In the event of rain or stoppages we will take the fastest times set over the entire event until 1200 on day 2.

TRANSPORTATION
Motorcycle and Kit Transportation is available from our depots at Stoke-on-Trent (England) and Bangor (Northern Ireland). The motorcycles are transported in custom made vehicles or cradles. There is room for you to take along a spare set of wheels, a kit-bag, small toolbox and paddock stands. We are also able to offer a regional collection from selected sites in Great Britain and Ireland.
Please contact us for availability and prices for the collection service.

TYRES
There will be a tyre fitting service available at competitive prices at the circuit. Upon receipt of your booking we will send you a tyre pricing and order form.

FUEL
Racedays operate a fuel service at the circuit. Due to transport restrictions it is not permitted to take your own canisters, new or used if using the transport service. There is a small surcharge for this service over the local pump prices.

GARAGES
Pit garages are included for all customers using the transport service. These are normally allocated on a basis of 8 to 10 bikes per garage depending on venue. For those making their own way pit garages can be hired directly at the circuit.
